The cool weather and drizzle didn\u2019t deter the festivities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John Wilson dedicated the new historical plaque, along with Patrick Milcic, and his horse Sam, and Marianne Roepe. Both John and Patrick are from the 8<sup>th<\/sup> Missouri Volunteer Dismounted Calvary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others were dressed in period attire, and demonstrations of life during the Civil War period were on display. Delicious ham &amp; beans along with cornbread were cooked over an open fire, and served to hungry guests.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large\"><img
