Dedication of Civil War Historical Panel

The dedication of our renewed Civil War plaque in front of the Camden County Museum was held on April 17^th, 2021. The cool weather and drizzle didn’t deter the festivities.

John Wilson dedicated the new historical plaque, along with Patrick Milcic, and his horse Sam, and Marianne Roepe. Both John and Patrick are from the 8^th Missouri Volunteer Dismounted Calvary.

Others were dressed in period attire, and demonstrations of life during the Civil War period were on display. Delicious ham & beans along with cornbread were cooked over an open fire, and served to hungry guests.
